This performance was from a Fourth of July celebration in Fairfield, CT that took place on 7/4/89. It was put together by Mountain drummer Corky Laing and featured other music legends like Felix Cavaliere from the Young Rascals, Levon Helm from The Band , Lester Chambers from the Chambers Brothers , Mark Clark from the Billy Squire Band ,and Jerry Mall from the Jimmy Cobb Quintet.

Corky, Mark, Jerry , and myself accompanied each of the stars as they would take turns performing hits from their careers. We were augmented by a guitarist and pianist Stan The Man Szelest from Levon's band , and a keyboardist and vocalist from Felix's band. As with gigs of this nature, there was no formal rehearsals and arrangements were put together backstage right before the show. The audience had a great time, and we did as well !! And I hope you will too ,when watching these clips!
